CM Punjab Laptop Scheme 2025 – Registration Start Date & Details

The CM Punjab Laptop Scheme, launched by Maryam Nawaz, aims to empower students with cutting-edge technology and scholarships. This initiative is part of the Chief Minister’s Laptop and Merit Scholarship Program 2024-2025, which will distribute laptops to deserving students across Punjab ¹.

*Key Highlights of the Scheme*

– 60,000 laptops will be distributed among students, with 32% allocated to students from South Punjab ¹.
– The laptops will be the latest Core i7, 13th-generation models ¹ ².
– Top-performing students in Matriculation and Intermediate exams will receive laptops, along with a Guard of Honour ¹ ².
– 2,000 minority students will also receive laptops ¹ ².
– Scholarships will be awarded to 30,000 students from government educational institutions and 10,000 students from private institutions ¹.

*Eligibility Criteria*

– Students currently enrolled in colleges or universities recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) are eligible to apply ³.
– Bachelor’s and Master’s degree holders with valid university or college ID cards can also apply ³.
– Matric and FSC students are also eligible to apply ³.

Application Process

1. Educational institutions will compile data on eligible students.

2. The compiled data will be submitted to the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Punjab.

3. The final list of selected students will be released after verification.

• No online application is required.

• Only meritorious students meeting the eligibility criteria will be considered.

• The selection process is transparent and merit-based.

*Distribution of Laptops*

– 5,000 laptops will be distributed within 30 days, and 35,000 laptops will be distributed by February 20 ¹ ².

– The laptops will be distributed among students from universities, colleges, technical and agricultural colleges, and medical and dental colleges ¹ ².
